Description The TSOP11..XG1 – series are miniaturized receivers for infrared remote control systems. PIN diode and preamplifier are assembled on lead frame, the epoxy package is designed as IR filter. The demodulated output signal can directly be decoded by a microprocessor. The main benefit is the operation with short burst transmission codes (e.g. RECS 80) and high data rates.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which TSOP model should I use if my infrared carrier frequency is 38 kHz?
You should select the TSOP1138XG1 type, as it is specified for operation at a 38 kHz carrier frequency.
What are the key features of this miniaturized receiver series?
It integrates the photo detector and preamplifier on one package, provides enhanced data rates (2400 bit/s), and includes an internal IR filter.
What is the maximum permissible operating temperature range?
The TSOP11..XG1 family has an operating ambient temperature range of -25°C to +85°C.
Does it handle interference from modern lighting sources like fluorescent lamps?
It can still receive data signals if the disturbance signal has a frequency-corresponding gap time at least as long as the burst length found in the data stream.
