LINEAR LTC1258-3 LTC1258-4.1 Data Sheet User Manual
Summary
The LTC1258 series are ultra-low-power micropower bandgap voltage references designed for precision, battery-powered electronic systems and regulated power supplies. Featuring high accuracy (0.15%) and extremely low quiescent current ($\sim 4\mu \text{A}$), these ICs excel in space-constrained devices requiring stability, such as handheld instruments. This manual provides comprehensive technical details, including electrical characteristics, application guidelines for load regulation, temperature drift compensation, and performance data critical for seamless integration into advanced power circuitry.

LTC1258-3/LTC1258-4.1 Micropower Low Dropout Reference
November 1998
FEATURES DESCRIPTION
200m V Max Dropout at 10m A Output Current The LTC®1258-3/LTC1258-4.1 are micropower bandgap 4µA Typical Quiescent Current references that combine high accuracy and low drift with 0.15% Max Initial Accuracy very low supply current and small package size. The No Output Capacitor Required combination of ultralow quiescent current and low dropout
Output Sources 10m A, Sinks 2m A voltage of only 200m V max makes them ideal for battery- 40ppm/°C Max Drift Over Commercial Temp Range powered equipment.
