TFDU8108 Vishay Semiconductors
Very Fast Infrared Transceiver Module (VFIR, 16 Mbit/s), Serial Interface Compatible, 2.7 V to 5.5 V Supply Voltage Range
Description The TFDU8108 transceiver is part of a family of low- power consumption infrared transceiver modules compliant to the Ir DA physical layer standard for VFIR infrared data communication, supporting Ir DA speeds up to 16 Mbit/s (VFIR) and carrier based remote con- trol modes up to 2 MHz. Integrated within the trans- ceiver module are a PIN photodiode, an infrared emitter (IRED), and a low-power Bi CMOS control IC to provide a total front-end solution in a single pack- age.
Vishay Semiconductors VFIR transceivers are avail- able in the Baby Face package. This provides flexibil-
