Memory Description: This device family has numerous internal non-volatile memory devices for holding firmware, configuration files, startup splash screen, calibration coefficients, factory settings, and user interface settings. Image data may be stored on a removable micro SD card, USB flash drive, or embedded multimedia card (e MMC) device.
Memory Cleaning Instructions: The removable image memory devices can be cleaned by deleting the images from the device using the camera user interface or by ejecting the device and using a PC to access and delete the stored images. Note that the removable memory devices are not sanitized by these procedures. Data may still be recoverable by various data recovery methods.
