Frequently Asked Questions
What types of mixed voltage applications is the LVX4245 designed for?
It interfaces between a 5V bus and a 3V bus, making it suitable for systems like laptop computers using both 3.3V CPUs and 5V LCD displays.
How are A and B Ports placed into a high-impedance state?
Setting the Output Enable (OE) input to HIGH disables both A and B Ports by placing them in a high impedance state.
What signaling determines the direction of data flow?
The Transmit/Receive (T/R) input determines the direction, with active-HIGH enabling data from A Ports to B Ports, and active-LOW doing the reverse.
What physical packages are available for ordering this transceiver component?
Available package types include 24-Lead Small Outline Integrated Circuit (SOIC/M24B), Quarter Size Outline Package (QSOP/MQA24), and Thin Shrink Small Outline Package (TSSOP/MTC24).
