Frequently Asked Questions

How do I prepare for a main valve overhaul?

Remove items like the piston/pressure pallet assembly, check diaphragms and seals, clean the casting, and resurface seating surfaces.

What maintenance tasks are required for pilot diaphragm?

When replacing the dome spinning, release cover screws, take care not to damage the pilot diaphragm (item 11), and mark the unit before reassembly.

How should I handle lifting the equipment?

Use slings or manually lift the non-return valves; be careful when removing large sections as they are not designed to carry external loads.

What must be done after painting the exterior valve body?

Paint it if it is damaged or scratched, to prevent corrosion and ensure longevity.
