Frequently Asked Questions
What types of systems is the ADS1244 ideally suited for?
It is well-suited for demanding applications in portable medical equipment and industrial process control where low power consumption is crucial.
Does the converter reject household AC mains frequencies (50Hz or 60Hz)?
Yes, the digital filter rejects both 50Hz and 60Hz signals simultaneously, settling completely within one cycle.
How can I reduce power dissipation when measuring intermittently?
Utilize Sleep Mode for single-cycle settling when only single self-calibration conversions are needed between measurements.
What microcontrollers or system architecture is the ADS1244 compatible with?
The device easily connects to microcontrollers like the MSP430 and can connect multiple units for multichannel measurement systems.
