If in any doubt, contact Emerson directly.

INSTALLATION

• Check that the details on the holder product plate and the disc tag are correct for the specific application. • When placing the assembly between the flanges or into the system, ensure that the flow arrow and 'VENT SIDE', on the disc tag, are orientated correctly and in agreement with the flow direction of the vent system. • Mating equipment faces should be undamaged, parallel and aligned correctly with the bursting disc device. Faces should be clean and fitted with correct gasket/seal. • Tighten the flange bolts progressively until a seal is achieved. • Disc performance is not affected by flange bolt torque.
