■●Note On ■❍About Live Sets and Tones Status 2nd byte 3rd byte On MIDI channels (*) that use Live Sets, the Live Set will sound. Tones will sound 9n H kk H vv H on all the other MIDI channels. To switch Live Set, the external MIDI device’s transmit channel needs to be n = MIDI channel number: 0H - FH (ch.1 - 16) matched up with the Main Channel (SYSTEM/MIDI/GENERAL) of the JUNO-Gi. kk = note number: 00H - 7FH (0 - 127) In MIDI controller mode, Tones will be sounded by all MIDI channels. Live Sets vv = note on velocity: 01H - 7FH (1 - 127) will not sound. * With Live Sets, there is a Main Channel and there is a Sub Channel. For details, see “System Parameters” (p. 82) in the Owner’s Manual.
