Coding of the production date (for example printed on rating plate)
The code consists of five digits formed exclusively out of numbers
The first three places of the code contain the production year. The thousands digit “2” of the four digit production year is not coded and dropped without replacement.
The digits of the production year are in the following order: Year – Century – Decade (Position 1, 2 & 3).
The last two places of the code contain the double-digit month of production (01-12) in reverse or-der (Position 5 & 4).
