Release type and definition Dell EMC License Manager Dell EMC License Manager is a one-to-many license deployment and reporting tool for integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (i DRAC) and Chassis Management Controller (CMC) licenses. License Manager can also inventory licensable systems to report the licensing status and currently enabled management controller feature level. Use i DRAC licenses to enable server management capabilities such as the virtual media and remote console support currently available in the Enterprise i DRAC feature set. Use CMC licenses to enable chassis management capabilities such as console integration, remote access, mutlichassis management, server cloning, and so on. To use the License Manager, inventory licensable servers and deploy licenses obtained from the Online Licensing Portal (www.dell.com/support/retail/lkm). Version 1.5 Release Date August 2017 Previous Version 1.4 Importance OPTIONAL: Dell recommends the customer review specifics about the update to determine if it applies to your system. The update contains changes that impact only certain configurations, or provides new features that may/may not apply to your environment.
