The latest 2.5" disk drives from IBM provide up to 3240MB in a slim 9.5mm high package. Using the latest MR head technology, IBM’s patented No-ID sector formatting, the SMART function and advanced power saving modes and IBM’s new ‘Load/Unload heads’ technology, IBM provides high performance, high capacity drives, particularly suited to the mobile computing market, and its increasing application of multimedia.
