Frequently Asked Questions

What is the procedure for transferring the KRS-01 sounds to my KRONOS?

Unzip the file, save the .SNG and .PCG files to a USB drive, connect it to the KRONOS, and use Disk Utility to copy them over.

Will loading new patterns or songs overwrite existing data?

Yes. Be aware that when files are loaded into memory, previously stored data in those specific locations will be overwritten; always back up important data first.

Where can I find the newly loaded KRS-01 Drum Patterns and Songs?

The 202 Drum Patterns load into the User bank (U027–U228), and the songs are loaded into either Songs 0–8 or after existing Songs, depending on your selection.

How do I assign a new drum pattern to an existing Program?

For EXi/HD-1 programs, go to the Drum Track tab; set the left popup menu to 'User' bank and select the desired U-number in the right popup menu.
